IMPORTANT DEFINITIONS ABOUT COMPLEMENTARY COLORS

Complementary color: There are pairs of colors wich are located ona in front of each other on the color wheel.
Warm range: It is a scale of colors that has either more yellow, more magenta or both in this mitxure. They express warmth energy youthness or proximity.
Cold range: It is a scale of colors that has more cyan or blue in its mitxure than any other color .
Grey scale: It´s a set of colors wich only has any colors between black and white. It contains a scale of grays.
IMPORTANT DEFINITIONS ABOUT COLOR

Color: It is a basic element of visual language. It´s a light impression that arrives to the eyes wich sends the information to the brain.
Color pigment light: Is the sustance that made the materials of paint. the pigment can be vegetal, animal or mineral.
Hue: Also called tove of tint, it´s the name of the color defined by its wave lenght.
Saturation: Degree of purity of a color. if a color is very saturated it means that is very pure and doesn´t have many colors in its mix.
Value: Sometimes called brightness of luminosty. It´s the almost of black or white that a color has in it mix.
IMPORTANT DEFINITIONS ABOUT TEXTURES

Texture: It is the visual and tactile quality of the surfaces to the material.
Tactile textures: are these that can be percived throug the sense of touch .
Visual textures: Those wich can only be percibed through teh sense of shigt.
Natural textures: These that can be found.
IMPORTANT DEFINITIONS ABOUT THE SHAPE

Shape: It is the external appearance of an object or element in a image.
Natural shapes: They are ones related to nature. They haven´t been created by humans or mechanical procedures.
Geometric shapes: Shapes whose parts follow a mathematic order laws pattern.
Flat shapes: THey have two dimensions such a paper sheet a cinema screen or a canvas
Artificial shapes: Shapes with have been created by humans or mechanical procedures.
THE LINE

Line: It can be defined as a dot in moviment. It has a position a direction in the sapce and one of its principal function consist on marking the shapes outlines.
TYPES OF LINES:
-Zig Zag: There are formed by several fragments of straight lines with different directions.
-Wavy lines: They are formed by several fragments of curved.
- Curly lines: They hold more curves than weavy lines and show loops.
-Scribble: Chaotic off weaving less that are traced radowly of child hood or to fill in some area with a particular texture.
-Hatching: It is a way of shading or giving tores to the areas of objets or surfaces with parallels lines.
-Cross hatching: It is a way of shading areas of a drawing or surfaces with parallel lines in several directions.
-Dashed lines: They are lines wich are no continuous formed by little traces or dots.
-Blurred: They are very shoft or vanished so they are hord to see and opposite to intense and deep.
-Siplem lines: Those that are formed by only one line.
THE  DOT

Dot: it is the smallest and most simple element in art expression. it my have different qualities such as size shape and color.
The dot three dimensional cpacity: whrn the size, shape and colors are changed, the dots can create visual sensations of special dipress and volume.
The dot expresive capacity: The point has a unlimited capacity to represent images and to express ideas and evolutions.
Optical mix: When color are mixed with the help of distance.
SYMMETRY

Symmetry: It is a quality of some shapeswich some of theim parts are relections of others.
Reflection symmetry: It is a shape quality wich is formed by two halves faring each other with an axis or fold linesin between as if both sides were mirror images of each other.
Symmetry axis: It is a line wich divides a shape into two symmetric halves. Every elements of the shapes is reflected in the other side and the same distance from the axis.
Central symmetry: It is the refection of an object through a point called in the symmetry center in the symmetry center. Symmetric pair of points are collinear with the center.

PARALLELOGRAMS AND NO PARALELLOGRAMS

PARALLELOGRAMS:
Square:
4 sides equal
4 angles equal
2 diagonals

Rectangle:
4 sides equal 2 by 2
4 angles equal

Rhombus:
4 sides equal
4 angles equal 2 by 2

Rhomboid:
4 sides equal 2 by 2
4 angles equal 2 by 2

V

Quadrilaterals: They are polygons with four sides and four vertices
Parallelograms: They are cuadrilaterals with two pairs of parallels oposite equal and two pairs of opposite equal angle. They diagonals bisect each other.

NO PARALLELOGRAMS:

Right trapezium:
1 angle of 90G
2 sides parallels

Isoscels trapezium:
2 sides parallels
2 sides equal

Scalen trapezium:
2 sides parallel
4 sides differents

Trapezoid:
4 sides different
Non parallel lines

THE POLIGONS

Star poligon: It's a particular poligon with a star shape, created out of linking together non consecutive vertices of a regular poligon.
Inscribed poligon: They are poligons plece inside circles so all vertices of the poligon are placed on the circle.
Circunscribed: They are poligons sorrounding a circle boing its sides tangents to the circle inside.
Equiangular: all their corners or vertices are equal.
Equilateral: All edges or sides are of the some length
Regular: All their vertices angles and sides are equal.
Irregular: Show different angles and length for their sides.
IMPORTANT DEFINITIONS ABOUT ANGLES AND LINES

Parallels: They are lines wich never intersect them selves so all their points are equidistants.
Perpendicular: They are lines wich meet forming four right angles.
Oblique: They are lines wich are not parallels neither perpendicular
Angle: It's a figure formed by two rays sharing a common endpoint.

TYPES OF ANGLES:

-Complementary angles: They are couples of angles wich sum is 90 grades.
-Suplementary angles: They are couples of angles wich sum is 180 grades.
-Adyacent angles: they are angles that share one side and the vertex.

HALLOWEEN FOR ME IS...

Halloween for me it's an special fest, all children dress up to do trick or treat. This fest is really nice because after trick or treat they eat sweets and candies. Trick or treat consist of calling at homes and asking for sweets and candies.

Basic geometry concepts and definitions

Geometry: It's an area of knowledge wich studies any elements and operations on/in the plane such as point.
Greek: Geo is metry is measurement.
Point: In geometry a point can be defined as place or location were two lines intersect. A point has not dimensions, no height and no width.
Line: A one-dimensionalobject formedof infinite points. It has not end and continues on forever in an plane.
Ray: A line wich begins at a particular point (called the endpoint) and extendsendlessly in one direction.
Mindpoint: Is the point that is halfway beetween the endpoints of the line segment.
Line segment: It's a line with two endpoints.
Length: Measuremet of something from end to end.
Freehand: Draw by hand without guiding instruments, measurements.

Important definition about circles

Circle: Set of point at the same distance (equidistance) to a point called center (the line).
Circuference: It's the full length of a circle, the complete distance around a circle.
Center: It's the point equidistant to any of the points on a circle.
Radius: It's the length of a line segment from the center to perimetre.
Diameter: A line segment that passes through the center and conects two points of a circle.
